Sinigang na baboy( Pork Sinigang)







Ingredients:

1 pound pork
6 cups of water
tamarind (sampalok)
Kangkong leaves (water spinach)
1 or 2 Green jalapenos (siling green)
5-6 pieces string beans String beans
3 pieces taro (gabi),pealed and cut into  chunks
1 medium size onions
1 white radish (round thin sliced)
1 medium size tomato
Salt or patis


Directions:

1. In a pot, boil,tomatoes,onions,add pork when it starts boiling
2.Add taro (gabi) and Tamarind simmer it until the tamarind shell peal off
3. Add String beans,simmer it again for 5 minutes
4. Turn off the Stove,add water spinach ( kangkong), white radish and cover, let the heat of the stove cooked water spinach and white radish.
5. Salt or patis to taste


* You can use or add , eggplant,regular cabbage,green beans instead of string beans if its not available
